A Look at the New 2021.5 Mazda CX-5

Many thought the CX-5 crossover couldn't be improved. What is there to upgrade over fantastic styling, admirable powertrains, luxurious amenities and more? Well, Mazda thought out of the box and found more technology, safety, and value updates for the 2021.5 CX-5. Dealerships begin deliveries of these exciting models in July 2021, so if they aren't on the lots yet, they will be soon.

In the meantime, let's preview what has everyone excited about the 2021.5 CX-5.

Bigger is better in the 2021.5 Mazda CX-5

No more small screens in the CX-5. All 2021.5 models now have a standard 10.25-inch center display. Driven by the latest Mazda Connect software, each display is your gateway to outstanding infotainment. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability multiply choices that are fit for any trip.

The 2021.5 Mazda CX-5 expands safety

No matter which level you choose, each model now features i-Activsense safety technologies as standard equipment. These driver assistance features include Smart City Brake Support Front, Advanced Blind Spot Monitoring, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Mazda Radar Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Smart Brake Support Front, Pedestrian Detection, Lane-keep Assist System, Lane Departure Warning System, and more.

2021.5 Mazda CX-5 models also include grade-specific changes

The 2021.5 CX-5 GX adds more value with now-standard LED headlights and daytime running lights, automatic on/off headlights, High Beam Control, rearview camera, adjustable heated front seats, and rain-sensing wipers.

If you choose all-wheel drive with the base GS, 19-inch wheels now come along with it. The special 2021 Kuro Edition also remains in the lineup and now offers optional (and impressive) black leather with red stitching.

Since the Mazda Connect infotainment system is now included in all models, the GT is discontinuing wireless Apple CarPlay. But the CX-5 keeps everything that has made it the best until now, including its available 2.5-litre turbo engine with monstrous torque, i-Activ AWD and standard G-Vectoring Plus system.

Each of the new 2021.5 updates make the CX-5 lineup even better. Mazda also keeps 2021 model features that make it great. So, if you want a crossover that checks all the boxes inside and outside the vehicle, the 2021.5 CX-5 is arriving.

The 2021.5 Mazda CX-5 has even more exciting features that await your discovery. In the meantime, you can shop for your car online with us. Our representatives are waiting for your call and can answer all your questions.
